What to expect on your first visit:
The initial visit is called an "intake". The purpose of the first visit is to gather history information, discuss presenting issues, establish your goals for therapy, and determine whether we are a good fit. During this time we will be getting familiar with one another, planting seeds of trust that will grow during our upcoming sessions.
If you are experiencing a Life Threatening emergency, in danger of hurting yourself or others, are suicidal, overwhelmed, or in a crisis it is very important you get help right now! You can do one of the following: Call your local law enforcement: 911 , Go to the Nearest Emergency Room, or Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255
